Campus Pastors: Marlon and Carmelita Benderson
Marlon and Carmelita Benderson serve as the Campus Pastors at Encounter Fellowship - Clover. They are Jamaican natives who have transitioned to South Carolina since 2022.They have two beautiful daughters, Abigail and Malia. They have been married and ministering together since 2007.
Pastor Marlon is a dedicated man of God who has been serving in the Ministry for over 30 years and has served in the capacity of Deacon, member of the Pastor’s Council, Sunday School teacher and Youth Pastor. He has an undying passion to see lives transformed through a personal relationship and saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
The Bendersons share a deep love for the people they serve through their warm leadership style. Their prayer is to serve the community, to have the community encounter the love of Jesus and to build a strong bond of unity. Commitment to their faith and to each other is evident in the way they work together to spread the message of love and acceptance. Their passion for helping others is truly inspiring, and their dedication to their community is unwavering.
